Eats & Bounds: Lubbock Concerts, Events & TTU Sports – 12/08/16

Good afternoon from a winter-like day in Lubbock. There’s something about a windchill in the teens that will help put you in the Christmas spirit. Another way to achieve maximum Christmas Spirit is to see Ballet Lubbock’s excellent presentation of The Nutcracker.

Flatland Cavalry is in town along with guitarist extraordinaire Tommy Emmanuel. Load up your Spotify/Amazon playlists if you’ve yet to hear either of these.

The National Ranching Heritage Center is hosting their 38th Annual Candlelight at the Ranch event. It really is a special thing to see, but if you’re reading this and aren’t already in line, you should probably do something else instead.
